Qualifications for Nomination
To qualify for the ACE Awards, your company must meet the following criteria:
Location:
Headquartered in Arizona. Cannot be a subsidiary of a company headquartered outside of Arizona.
Ownership:
Privately held – a company whose voting stock is not listed on any exchange or traded in any public market.
Business Type:
For-profit companies, excluding those in the following industries: Professional services (accounting, tax, legal, consulting, engineering, etc.), governmental organizations, banking and financial services, real estate brokers, and investment banking. Tax-exempt companies (such as 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4)) do not qualify for this program.
Sales:
Companies are ranked by annual net sales. If a consolidated group, please submit consolidated annual sales after eliminating any inter-company sales. Please do not submit subsidiaries separately. You must have a minimum $7.5 million of revenue in your fiscal 2009 year to be eligible for the 2010 ACE Awards.
Verification:
Representatives of ACE Awards MUST visit your company to confirm the annual net sales presented in your application against a reliable source document, such as audited or reviewed financial statements, tax returns, or other, reliable documents. This visit must be with the President/CEO or CFO.
